Philolaos is a Greek-born sculptor who moved to Paris in the 1950s to start a successful career, working mostly on a monumental scale, creating sculptures for public spaces all around France and the world. I’m obviously in awe of his work, and was delighted to see the current exhibition, displaying smaller pieces in bronze and steel, looking so good.
