Colette – Issue No. 0039
To celebrate colette’s 10 year anniversary in March of 2007, we have partnered with the legendary Parisian boutique to create a special issue edition. The store has always been known for it’s affinity to art as evidenced by an impressively long list of exhibits in its 10 year history. To mark their first decade, colette commissioned over 90 artists to create original works that expressed their view of the new year. The proceeds from the sale of which will benefit the WWF.
This special issue edition of Arkitip will be an extension of this very rare exhibition by displaying a substantial variety of these works, allowing them to be seen worldwide via our magazine distribution. Arkitip was charged with the difficult task to choose a sample of these artists for display in the issue. This exhibition will constitute the entire Arkitip contributor section making the assemblage very comprehensive.
