Ferrari – Issue No. 0042
The cover feature highlights the design, performance and technological competence of the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro F1 Team, focusing mainly on the design of the F1 car. It will highlight the car’s sculptural elements, curves, and their relationship with its aerodynamic performance. The beauty of a F1 car is something that Arkitip finds to be underappreciated in mainstream culture, so casting a spotlight here is extremely satisfying. The stunning photos of this car created by the most successful F1 team of all time are sure to impress all aficionados of art and design with any aesthetic standards.
Arkitip partnered with Puma AG, the team’s official supplier, to create a special custom designed pair of driving gloves as the collector’s item to be distributed in every issue.
In addition to the unique F1 feature, this issue will also celebrate Italian design and art by curating the issue with an all Italian roster of contributing artists. Some of these artists have already graced the pages of Arkitip while others are totally new and undiscovered.
The release of this issue edition coincided with the Gran Premio d’Italia F1 race in Monza, September 2007.
The event took place on the 7th of September in Milano at a+m bookstore.
